Password protecting your Pages with htaccess

On occasion, you may want to password protect part of, or maybe all of your website. There may be a group of programs, html documents, or images that you want to be available only to a certain group of people. Htaccess is the answer! But if you aren't familiar with those programming languages, or just want to protect something quick and easy, then again, htaccess is the answer!
